Elizabeth
Tackenberg, AIA, IIDA, NCARB, is the principal of the firm, Tackenberg
Architecture. She is a professional member of the American Institute
of Architects (AIA), the International Interior Design Association,
(IIDA), and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards,
(NCARB). Achitect AR91897.
With more than 25 years of professional experience in architecture
and interior design, Ms. Tackenberg is able to deliver a fully-integrated
product taking all facets of design into consideration. What sets
her apart is her ability to communicate calmly, sincerely and clearly.
This is appreciated by all members of the construction team during
the design and construction process.
Ms. Tackenberg graduated from Virginia Tech in 1980 with a Bachelor
of Architecture Degree. During the initial seven years of her career,
she lived and worked in New York City focusing on office design
in Manhattan and throughout the USA. She relocated to Fort Lauderdale
in 1987 pursuing both office and retail architectural interiors.
Then in 1999, while designing high-end architectural interiors for
the cruise line industry, she moved to Miami Beach.
Ms. Tackenberg founded Tackenberg Architecture in 2004. The firm
is currently servicing the private sector by expanding and renovating
retail stores and residences in Dade and Broward Counties. Tackenberg
Architecture is located in Miami Beach, FL.
