Elizabeth Tackenberg, AIA, IIDA, NCARB, registered and licensed in the State of FL, NC and NY, is the principal of the firm, Tackenberg Architecture. She is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and a former member of the Board of Directors for The Miami Chapter of AIA. She is a member of the International Interior Design Association, (IIDA), and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, (NCARB).

With more than 25 years of professional experience in architecture and interior design, Ms. Tackenberg is able to deliver a fully-integrated product taking all facets of design into consideration. What sets her apart is her ability to communicate calmly, sincerely and clearly. This is appreciated by all members of the team throughout the design and construction process.

Ms. Tackenberg graduated from Virginia Tech in 1980 with a Bachelor of Architecture Degree. During the initial seven years of her career, she lived and worked in New York City focusing on office design in Manhattan and throughout the USA. She relocated to Fort Lauderdale in 1987 pursuing both office and retail architectural interiors. Then in 1999, while designing high-end architectural interiors for the cruise line industry, she moved to Miami Beach. She remained in that industry until founding Tackenberg Architecture in 2004.
